Personal Loans
Your reasons for a personal loan are as individual as you are. As your community credit union, we understand that. Whether the loan is for a vehicle, boat or snowmobile purchase, our focus is one service. Perhaps you are interested in consolidating your debits - come talk to us and we'll help you design a repayment plan that first your needs and your budget.
Line of Credit
On your personal, business or farm account, LeRoy Credit Union can offer a line of credit on your account for personal or operating expenses. Once the application is approved, funds are available immediately.
RRSP Loan
You can borrow to maximize your unused RRSP contribution room at rates as low as prime with up to 10 years to repay. We also offer an RRSP Quick Loan which will allow you to disburse every year for RRSP purchases without re-applying for a loan each year.
Student Loan
LeRoy Credit Union offers student loans for education expenses that are not covered by the Canada Student Loan program. While you are in school, you only pay the interest monthly. Repayment of principal starts 6 months after school is completed, and we offer flexible repayment terms to fit your budget.
Business / Agriculture Loans
Business or Ag Loans can be used for the purchase of equipment, land, or operating. The terms of the loan can vary based on the nature of the purchase. LeRoy Credit Union also has different options such as lines of credit, quick loans or term loans to suit your needs. Ask one of our lenders about the Canadian Agricultural Loans Act (CALA) or the Canada Small Business Financing Act (CSBFA) for further options.
Mortgage Loans
Whether you are purchasing your first home, upgrading to a bigger home or renovating your existing property, we can provide you with financing for one of the major purchases in your life. Flexible down payment options are available with as low as 5% down. Talk to one of our lenders and we can discuss what options are best for you.
Insurance
LeRoy Credit Union offers credit insurance on all loans, including Lines of Credit. You can add life and disability insurance to your loan and pay a monthly premium to ensure you and your family are covered.
Skip-a-Payment
Once per calendar year, LeRoy Credit Union will allow you to skip a loan payment without penalty. There is a small fee charged to use this feature, however, and if this is used on a mortgage where property taxes are being collected, the property tax portion must still be paid for that month.
Cards
Applications are available for MasterCard credit cards through LeRoy Credit Union. The Choice Rewards program allows you to collect points every time you use your MasterCard. These points can be used to purchase items available in the Choice Rewards cataolgue, including TVs, cameras, gift cards, travel and hotels. Credit card limits are based on your annual income and credit history.
Business MasterCards are also available.
